Through 12 games this year, Jordan Eberle doesn't have a goal. In the first year of his new five-year contract, he's off to an extremely slow start, and Barry Trotz took notice. The New York Islanders Head Coach dropped him to the third line in practice.
Trotz said that a lot of guys were full and that they've been patient with players but it might be time for a change. That's the biggest example of a change to the lineup for the Isles, at least for what they've shown in practice.
Due to the success of the Beauvillier - Nelson - Brassard line, the only option was to put Eberle on the third line with Dal Colle and Komarov/Koivula.
