If you're going to be brash you better back it up. On Saturday, the New York Islanders didn't back it up. Devon Toews scored giving the Islanders a three-goal lead and seemingly putting the game on ice against the Capitals.
On Toews celebration, he flapped his arms like what Evgeni Kuznetsov does after scoring a goal. Clearly, Toews was mocking Kuznetsov.
I'm not someone who says that you can't celebrate or have fun but if you're going to do something like that, you better win the damn game. The Capitals came storming back scoring five goals in the third period to win 6-4.
