In the fourth round of the 2009 NHL Draft, the New York Islanders landed Casey Cizikas out of the OHL. After two more years in junior hockey, Cizikas joined the Sound Tigers in 2011-2012 and immediately burst onto the scene.
In 52 games, he had 45 points (15 goals, 30 assists). His production yielded him a 15 game call up where he had four assists to his name. Next year, 2012-2013, Cizikas would come up and stay up with the Islanders.
