Islanders bringing Anders Lee back on seven-year deal

Anders Lee is back.

After early free agency swings and misses — notably losing out on Artemi Panarin and Sergei Bobrovsky — the Islanders are bringing back their captain on a seven-year deal with a $7 million AAV, according to multiple reports.

The winger seemingly confirmed reports of his return on Monday by tweeting out a clip from the “Wolf of Wall Street,” titled “I’m Not Leaving.”

The Isles’ quest to add Panarin — who instead landed with the rival Rangers — left question marks around Lee’s future with the franchise that drafted him in 2009.
