NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The Islanders and veteran enforcer Eric Boulton have agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced Friday.
According to Newsday, the contract will pay Boulton $575,000 in the NHL and $150,000 with the AHL’s Bridgeport Sound Tigers. He is guaranteed $200,000.
Would guess Boulton will serve a role like the one Matt Carkner held last season: Player/mentor in BPT, available for recall when needed.
