Islanders Anxiety - Episode 59 - No Neck but a Big Brain

It took five tries, but Mike and Dan finally get a podcast in the books about the Islanders’ first three games under Barry Trotz. They talk about the night and day differences between last season and this one, and the good, bad and getting better of the small sample of games.

They also discuss the end of the Jan Kovar experiment, the attendance at Barclays Center, a new job for former Islanders head coach Doug Weight, the stupidity of the NHL’s schedule makers and sing about the greatness of Mathew Barzal.

I don’t know what’s up with my Skype recording app, but we ran through these topics two and a half times, with two more attempts scuttled after just a few minutes.
