In signing a two-year deal with HC Davos of the NL in Switzerland, Shane Prince’s NHL career has seemingly come to a halt – if not an end – after 139 games (including the postseason).
Prince was drafted 61st overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft by the Ottawa Senators but was traded to the New York Islanders at the 2016 trade deadline for a third-round pick (the Islanders got a seventh-round pick in the deal as well).
Joining the team in March, Prince scored three goals and five points in 20 regular-season games.
