Sabres forward Kyle Okposo is in jeopardy of missing the final three games of the season after being hospitalized and placed in intensive care on Wednesday.
The right winger, who played nine seasons with the Islanders before signing with Buffalo as a free agent in the offseason, has been admitted to the Neuro Surgical intensive care unit at Buffalo General Hospital, according to Buffalo sports radio station WGR-AM 500.
Coach Dan Bylsma says Okposo won’t play against Montreal on Wednesday, and adds it’s unlikely he’ll travel for the final two games this weekend.
Bylsma says Okposo has met with team doctors due to an undisclosed condition that’s sidelined him for over a week.
