Dennis Seidenberg Activated vs. Capitals; Adam Pelech Placed on IR

For the second night in a row, the New York Islanders will have multiple changes to their lineup following a victory when they face the Capitals tonight in Washington.

Changing things up after a win is not something often associated with Jack Capuano, but there are reasons.

Dennis Seidenberg was activated from injured reserve today, with fellow defenseman Adam Pelech taking his place on the injured list, retroactive to Nov. 28. Seidenberg will play tonight against the Capitals in place of Scott Mayfield, himself an injury fill-in after Pelech was hurt against the Flames.
