NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Islanders sent Mikhail Grabovski back to Long Island when he reported a physical problem of some sort after playing 17 minutes against the Penguins Tuesday — his first game back after missing 10 with an injury.
Coach Jack Capuano said his lineup for Thursday night’s game against the Predators would be uncertain until early evening, in part as a result of Grabovski’s absence.
“For me it’s just seeing where we’re at health-wise and we can determine our centermen and our wingers and what balance we’re going to have in our attack here tonight,” Capuano said during the morning skate.
