For however unfamiliar the New York Islanders are with the Second Round of the Stanley Cup playoffs, being up 1-0 in a series is nothing new. Dating back to last year, and including this series, the Islanders have been up 1-0 in their last three series played in, but failed to head back to their home arena in the driver’s seat leading 2-0 in the previous two attempts.
