Giants long-snapper Zak DeOssie, the only other player besides Eli Manning to play in the Giants’ last two Super Bowl championships, has agreed to a new contract, according to a person familiar with the Giants’ situation.
The news was first reported by the Houston Chronicle.
DeOssie, who turns 33 in May, was the Giants’ fourth-round pick out of Brown in 2007, the same year the Giants won their first title in the Tom Coughlin-Manning era.
DeOssie played in all 16 games last season after coming back from wrist surgery. He had missed the final four games of the 2015 season with torn tendons.
