Last week, the New York Giants finally got veteran wide receiver Brandon Marshall into the offensive mix. Marshall caught eight passes on 11 targets. He had 66 receiving yards, which represents only 8.3 yards per completion.
Clearly, the Giants did not sign Marshall to stretch the field, but he has been invisible in the red zone too. In three games, he has ten receptions for less than 100 yards. Zero touchdowns so far, as quarterback Eli Manning has eyed Odell Beckham and Sterling Shepard in order to hit paydirt.
No one can say that his start has been a productive one for the veteran receiver.
