Oh, the irony of poor Archie Manning uttering “I hate football” while in New York to endorse DirecTV’s Sunday Ticket — a sports package that allowed him to watch both quarterback sons lose at the same.
On one screen, the Manning patriarch witnessed Peyton getting benched as the Broncos — undefeated just two weeks ago — lost to the Chiefs. On the other, Archie saw Eli and the Giants for once on the wrong end of a wild finish while facing the Patriots.
One was a crushing personal loss; the other, a brutal team loss.
So it seems only fitting to ask which of Archie's boys had the worst weekend ever: Peyton or Eli?
