To continue his NFL career Will Tye needs to find an NFL team that does not call MetLife Stadium home. That is because the former New York Giants tight end was waived on Tuesday by the New York Jets, who had picked him up at the end of preseason when the Giants let him go.
Tye played in three games for the Jets. He caught four passes for 38 yards, 9.5 yards per catch. He was inactive in Week 4 when the Jets faced the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Tye started 10 games for the Giants in 2016 and seven during his rookie year in 2015.
