Will Tye should remain Giants’ starting tight end going into 2016

Despite all of the injuries the New York Giants have suffered at the tight end position this season, rookie Will Tye has stepped up and become quarterback Eli Manning’s most reliable receiving target on offense other than wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

With Victor Cruz not playing this season, and Rueben Randle still making the types of mistakes that he made when he was a rookie, the Giants are having to rely on Tye a lot and it’s shown in his stats lately.

Over the past three weeks Tye has been targeted a total of 19 times and has 14 receptions for 200 yards receiving.
