It’s safe to say that New York Giants’ rookie left tackle Andrew Thomas hasn’t had the best start to his career.
Now in Thomas’ defense, he’s had to face some very tough pass rushes from the Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago bears, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles and others.
Giants’ offensive line coach Marc Colombo spoke with the media on Wednesday and made it clear that benching Thomas isn’t the answer right now.
Benching Thomas may not be the best idea, but why not have fellow rookie Matt Peart start on the left side and have Thomas move to right tackle?
