Victor Cruz's recovery from a calf strain remains in a holding pattern.
One week after he received a platelet-rich plasma injection to help facilitate healing in the muscle, the wide receiver is still being kept on a very tight and limited regimen by the training staff.
"Inside," Tom Coughlin said when asked if Cruz is able to do any work, referencing the training room, "but he's not doing anything out here yet. And he's not doing much either. They're watching."
Monday will be the one-year anniversary of Cruz's torn patellar tendon against the Eagles. He's apparently recovered well from that injury, only to have the calf issue pop up in mid-August and sideline him since.
