Will Giants’ ownership pressure executives, coaches to take edge rusher in 1st round?

With the 2021 NFL Draft starting tomorrow night, so far we know that the New York Giants are likely leaning towards not selecting an edge rusher with the 11th overall pick.

Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano of ESPN mentioned in a recent article that the coaches and executives within the Giants organization have been talking about taking an edge rusher in the first round because of the fact that owners John Mara and Steve Tisch like to lean that way.

Michigan’s Kwity Paye is seen by many as the safest of the pass-rush crop, though he might just be the best of a substandard-looking bunch.
