I really thought that Will Beatty wouldn’t have a problem taking over as the New York Giants’ starting right tackle this past season, but he never did such a thing.
Jordan Raanan of ESPN believes the Giants will be moving on from Beatty who’s set to become a free agent this offseason.
The Giants re-signed him this summer as an emergency option. They wouldn’t put him in games. Beatty’s future is elsewhere.
While I’m sure at least one NFL team will be interested in seeing if they can revive Beatty’s career, the fact that he couldn’t play well enough to start over Marshall Newhouse and Bobby Hart does not bold well for him.
