Will Beatty gets a contract offer from the Jaguars, interest from the Eagles

After a season lost to a torn pectoral muscle, the New York Giants released Will Beatty in February of 2016 along with Geoff Schwartz.

It wasn't unexpected.

As the league's reigning and unquestioned injury dynasty, the Giants had to do something to improve their health, and parting ways with players who have had poor luck with injuries is one way to do it.

Perhaps because of that injury history, Beatty hasn't gotten much interest on the free agent market despite his talents as a left tackle.

Until now.

As the regular season draws closer, Beatty was brought in for a workout by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
