The cavalry is getting closer to returning for the New York Giants. Well, at least part of the cavalry. Offensive lineman Will Beatty, out since suffering a torn pectoral muscle while lifting weights with the team during the conditioning portion of off-season workouts, expects to practice on Wednesday when the Giants begin preparations for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Beatty told Newsday's Tom Rock that "the wait is over."
Beatty has been on the PUP list while he rehabs. There is no official word as to whether Beatty will begin to practice this week or whether the Giants will have him continue his rehab.
