Why won't Giants let Davis Webb play? | Mailbag

The #Giants have been getting a lot of heat for not developing Webb this season. Is it possible he just hasn't shown the organization enough to warrant the meaningful practice reps? Maybe he just isn't picking up the offense? Should fans be concerned about Webb?

Pretty much any theory is valid at this point. The Giants sent out a press release saying they planned to play rookie quarterback Davis Webb this season, and co-owner John Mara said he wanted to see Webb play, but yet Webb is expected to be inactive for the 14th time this season on Sunday, and interim coach Steve Spagnuolo seems to have no inclination to let Webb play.
