The Giants should be taken to task for the inadvertent freeze-out of Odell Beckham Jr. in the second half of Sunday’s 24-20 loss to the Falcons, but the larger issue might be this: Where the heck is Rueben Randle?
As Victor Cruz’s replacement in the starting lineup, Randle played a team-high 68 of the 71 offensive snaps — one more snap than Beckham. Eli Manning did not look in Randle’s direction one time in the first half. Randle got the ball thrown his way twice in the fourth quarter. He dropped the first pass, caught the second for a 5-yard gain.
