EAST RUTHERFORD -- Branden Albert has decided he wants to play again, just days after retiring, and the Jaguars have no enthusiasm to let the veteran left tackle back into their fold, according to ESPN.
It was somewhat miraculous Jacksonville traded for Albert in the first place. It's improbable another team would be willing to make a deal for a guy who literally quit football for a week, and was scheduled to have an $8.9 million cap hit this season (and $9.6 million in 2018). The Jaguars will likely cut Albert outright if he actually commits to playing this year and they truly don't want him around.
