Even though New York Giants’ tight end Evan Engram somehow made the Pro Bowl this season, it was an utter disaster for him with a total of eight drops. Many of which led to interceptions that negatively affected the stats of second-year quarterback Daniel Jones.
There has been plenty of outcry from Giants’ fans for the team to move on from Engram, but this doesn’t make sense right now and I’ll tell you why.
For one, the Giants don’t have a lot of offensive weapons in the passing game. Aside from Sterling Shepard who is a slot receiver, they don’t have a top-tier receiver.
