The biggest beneficiary of the Giants’ injury-prompted quarterback switch from the rookie Jones back to the 16-year veteran Manning could be Barkley, who hasn’t topped 83 rushing yards in the first seven games he has played alongside Jones. The veteran offensive line has remained intact for all but one of those games, too.
“Eli is a legend: He sees the field so well and he understands the game so well,” Barkley said. “They are both great quarterbacks, and I’m not here to compare and contrast Eli versus D.
