Everyone loves the three wide receivers. The star, Odell Beckham Jr. The comeback kid, Victor Cruz. The rookie, Sterling Shepard. Stop ’em if you can.
In the first month of the season, those three amassed a combined 811 receiving yards, the most by any receiver trio in the NFL. The Giants were not scoring enough points, but they were getting the ball to their main targets. The Packers solved that riddle in a big way, limiting the three receivers to 70 total yards. Beckham (five receptions for 56 yards and his first touchdown of the season) was held in check, but was able to generate some production.
