PHILADELPHIA -- It has been a tough grind. The New York Giants just played their third game in 12 days, with two being physical matchups against division rivals. They lost on three days’ rest Thursday night in Philadelphia and without arguably their best defensive player.
The Giants (10-5) missed an opportunity to clinch a playoff berth for the first time in five years. But it’s likely to still happen as early as Saturday. They need it to happen on Saturday.
If the Minnesota Vikings can upset the Green Bay Packers or the Carolina Panthers can beat the Atlanta Falcons or the New Orleans Saints beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Giants can celebrate.
