EAST RUTHERFORD -- Jerell Adams was already considered "fast" when he got to the NFL. The 6-foot-5, 247-pound South Carolina product ran a 4.64-second 40-yard dash in the run-up to last year's NFL Draft.
Adams has looked noticeably faster on the field this summer, though, and the second-year Giants tight end said he feels faster. Adams also says the added boost is not attributable to any offseason training.
It's due to "knowledge and comfort."
"It's grown a lot," Adams told NJ Advance Media about his comfort level in the Giants' offense.
