The New York Giants are in a position to almost certainly select at least one tight end option in the upcoming 2022 NFL Draft. All three of the Giants’ primary tight ends from a year ago - Kyle Rudolph, Evan Engram, and Kaden Smith - are no longer with the team.
To help fill the void, New York signed former Washington Football Team member Ricky Seals-Jones. He’s not a true inline tight end, and he has limited blocking upside. Seals-Jones spent the 2020 season with Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka in Kansas City.
