Jabrill Peppers claims he's a safety, though his attire at the NFL Combine would suggest otherwise.
Wearing an "LB 24" shirt in Indianapolis this week -- indicating he is officially listed as a linebacker -- Peppers, the former Michigan and Paramus Catholic star, was adamant about the position he plays as he takes the necessary steps in preparation for the NFL Draft.
“What do I look like?” the 6-foot-1, 205-pounder said, reported by Redskins.com. “I’m a safety. I’m a safety. Yes, I’m a safety.”
Due to the amount of snaps at linebacker that Peppers played last season at Michigan, he was forced to participate in all drills with linebackers at the NFL Combine.
