EAST RUTHERFORD — Giants quarterback Eli Manning has had his fair share of battles with the Eagles. He has thrown for more yards and touchdowns against them than any other opponent.
In fact, the first game of his career came against them in 2004. Then a backup, Manning put forth a mostly uninspiring 3-for-9, 33 passing yards and zero touchdown performance.
Now 37, Manning was worse on Thursday night, and now the Giants are 1-5 after a 34-13 loss to the Eagles. The Giants are in trouble as the Eagles ascend back to the top of the NFC East.
