Jason Pierre-Paul's status going forward appears very much in question.
The Giants' star defensive end left Sunday's 24-14 loss to the Steelers with a groin injury, and he is in Philadelphia on Tuesday, being examined by a surgeon who specializes in sports hernias and core injuries, according to a report by NFL Media's Mike Garafolo.
Pierre-Paul posted on his Snapchat that "I'll be back ... hopefully." Even if the Giants get good news from Dr. William Meyers, and he does not need surgery, it seems likely Pierre-Paul will miss some time.
