Craig Carton has broken his silence, and he says he's an innocent man.
The WFAN host made his first public comments Tuesday about his recent arrest on federal fraud charges connected to an alleged fake ticket scheme, releasing a statement to the news media.
Carton professes confidence he will be found not guilty of the accusations made against him in the statement, as well as addresses the "endless stream of vitriol being hurled my way" and thanks his family, friends, fans and radio partner Boomer Esiason for their support, saying he will eventually "be back, stronger than ever.
