Let's look at what happened during practice on Tuesday.
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Center Weston Richburg was a surprise scratch from Tuesday's New York Giants training camp practice at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center. The second-year center had a wrap on his left knee, and official word from the Giants was that he was resting due to a "sore knee."
Perhaps that partially explains why Richburg played only 24 snaps on Saturday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, less than any other first-team offensive lineman.
Rueben Randle (knee tendinitis) was not expected to practice until Wednesday, according to what head coach Tom Coughlin said earlier on Tuesday.
