This week, the 2-3 Giants return home after a very successful trip to Seattle, to face a 1-4 Bengals squad that lost a heartbreaker in overtime to the division-rival Ravens last Sunday, 41-38. The Bengals lost that shootout despite a monster passing performance by red-hot quarterback Joe Burrow, who completed 30-of-39 passes for 392 yards, with five TDs and one INT. The problem was the defense, which gave up points to Lamar Jackson and company just as quickly as the offense could post them.
