Wayne Gallman hasn't returned a kickoff in a game since high school, but it hasn't been from a lack of trying.
"All of college, I wanted to return a kick," the Giants running back said. "If I'll have an opportunity later on this year, I don't know. I'll be ready for it."
He never got that chance at Clemson, simply because he was too valuable on offense for the coaching staff to use him on special teams. Nearly begging Clemson coach Dabo Swinney didn't work, either.
"I asked coach Swinney all the time," Gallman laughed.
