It certainly looks like the New York Giants will not be re-signing free agent running back Wayne Gallman after already adding veteran Devontae Booker to their roster this offseason.
Field Yates of ESPN reported on Monday that Gallman is set to visit with the San Francisco 49ers.
Gallman did play well last season, but the problem is that he doesn’t contribute on special teams like a guy like Booker does. Which is of course why the Giants signed Booker and clearly don’t intend on bringing back Gallman.
Gallman rushed for 682 yards and six touchdowns in 2020 to go along with a nice average of 4.
