Giants wide receiver Brandon Marshall has had an eventful 11-year NFL career. He broke out as a star with the Broncos in his second season, but he had some issues on and off the field that marred his early career in Denver.
The turning point in Marshall's life came in the 2011 offseason when he was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, which is described as "a serious mental disorder marked by a pattern of ongoing instability in moods, behavior, self-image, and functioning" by the National Institute of Mental Health.
Marshall spent three months getting intensive treatment at McLean Hospital in Belmont, Mass.
