Giants' Odell Beckham makes sensational 1-handed catch
EAST RUTHERFORD -- It didn't count, but that almost doesn't matter.
Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham made a spectacular one-handed touchdown grab during Sunday's training camp practice at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center, hauling in a deep ball from quarterback Eli Manning during a two-minute drill that pitted the first-team offense against the first-team defense.
There was only one problem: The play didn't count. Defensive end Olivier Vernon blew past left tackle Ereck Flowers before Manning was able to release the ball and got to the quarterback, recording the "sack" as head coach Ben McAdoo waved off the play.
