NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Somehow, some way, the Giants are still very much alive.
Despite losing three games in a row — two of which were heartbreakers to the Patriots and Jets, and the other an ugly loss to the rival Redskins — Big Blue sits in a three-way tie atop the NFC East with a 5-7 record.
New York is tied with the Redskins and the Eagles. If Washington had defeated Dallas this past Monday night, it would have held a one-game lead over the Giants — with the tiebreaker.
But the Redskins couldn’t get it done, and now it’s anyone’s division.
