The New York Giants offense, the strength of the team in recent years, is off to an extremely poor start in 2016. They’ve yet to forge an identity as they’ve been unable to sustain drives. Consequently, Big Blue’s offense is losing the time of possession battle big (73-47 over the past two weeks).
Two big reasons for that are QB Eli Manning and LT Ereck Flowers. Though the offense’s failures are not solely on them, they’ve played as poorly as anyone.
Flowers was dominated against the Green Bay Packers last week, giving up two sacks and being called for crucial holding penalties.
