The Giants moved Ereck Flowers from left tackle to right tackle this offseason, and now there will be calls to move him to the bench after another bad performance.
But here is the ugly truth: It's already too late to find a suitable alternative.
Flowers was the most identifiable problem on the Giants' disappointing offensive line in each of his first three seasons in the NFL, and yet the plan for rebuilding the unit consisted of replacing the other four starters and giving Flowers a fresh start at a new position.
