Tom Coughlin may have never envisioned overseeing a practice like the one he put the Giants through on Sunday, but times, and Coughlin, have changed.
From start to finish, the Giants — who were in shoulder pads for the first time this training camp — were on the field for only 70 minutes and nothing about the beginning or the end of the session was business as usual.
As the players stretched, music blared from speakers around the field, an eclectic mix that included “Uptown Funk,’’ Sinatra’s “My Way’’ and Queen’s “We Will Rock You.’’ Coughlin ended practice with some fun — a punt-catching contest between offensive and defensive linemen.
