The New York Giants’ defense has failed to live up to the lofty expectations they seemed to earn after an impressive 2020 season. The addition of Adoree’ Jackson was one of the more discussed free agent moves in the last ten years, but, so far, the pass defense has failed to exceed the confidence many had in defensive coordinator Patrick Graham’s secondary.
Teddy Bridgewater and the Broncos carved up the Giants secondary to a tune of 264 yards and two touchdowns while being incredibly efficient, when the game was competitive, on third and fourth downs. Washington’s Taylor Heinicke threw for 336 yards and two touchdowns.
