The last chance came on a desperate, fourth-down heave by Eli Manning in the general direction of Preston Parker. But the Falcons' pass rush had kept Manning from getting enough mustard on the ball, and it was dying as it made its way to Parker. He got his fingers on it but couldn't hold on.
The Falcons took over and were able to kneel out the final 35 seconds of a 24-20 victory Sunday, and suddenly the Giants were 0-2.
"We've got to come up with it,'' Parker said of that last opportunity. "We've just got to come up with it.
