Victor Cruz won’t play for the Giants this season.
The wide receiver announced Monday that he’ll have season-ending surgery on his injured calf.
“This hurts, you know, mainly because I worked so hard to come back from the patella tendon surgery and fought hard, day-in and day-out — rehab, physical work, strength work — and I felt like I was back to 100 precent,” Cruz said on Bleacher Report’s Uninterrupted platform. “And then the calf happens and it’s tough — it’s a tough thing to go through.
