Things aren't looking good for Victor Cruz. Again.
On Wednesday, Giants coach Tom Coughlin said that Cruz, who has been battling a calf issue since mid-August, had not yet been cleared to practice. He's been working "indoors," Coughlin said, and has attended meetings, but he has yet to be cleared for full practices.
That does not bode well for the receiver's chances of finally making his debut in Monday night's showdown with the Eagles in Philadelphia. Cruz suffered a season-ending knee injury last time the Giants visited Philly, and while he progressed swiftly in his attempt to return from that in the preseason, the optimism has slowed thanks to his nagging calf.
