Victor Cruz ruled out against Bills, no timetable for return

Victor Cruz has been ruled out for Sunday’s Giants game in Buffalo with a nagging calf injury.

Cruz aggravated his left calf while taking part in individual drills on Wednesday.

“Victor came out and tried to do individuals,” Tom Coughlin told reporters on Wednesday. “He felt the calf again and that’s all he did.”

Victor Cruz hasn't played for the Giants in almost a year. He injured his knee last October in Week 6 against the Eagles and then aggravated his calf during training camp.

Cruz will begin a rehab program for the injury, which he first suffered in mid-August.
